Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years gardening experience including pruning, weeding, using small motor equipment such as edgers, chain saws, lawn mowers, hedge trimers, blower vacs, pressure washers
  • Must be competent with ladder safety and experience using ladders
  • Experience towing trailers & reversing trailers
  • Working towards or successfully completed a Cert III in Individual Support/ Cert III in Aged Care (preferred but not required)
  • First Aid Training & CPR
  • Current drivers licence and road-worthy vehicle 
  • Working with children check completed – employee
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Police Check no more than 12 month old with no outcomes
  • Smart phone in good working order with active internet connection
  • Exceptional customer service skills 
  • Excellent organisational skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform lawn mowing, edging, hedge trimming to a high standard. Identify weeds from gardens and remove, weed spraying when necessary, pruning roses and shrubs, pruning of fruit trees and other garden maintenance including laying weed matt & garden mulch.
  • Perform gutter cleaning, checking/unblocking down pipes, pressure washing, other maintenance tasks as required.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalised experiences.
  • Demonstrate care and empathy towards clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions, representing the company’s core values with every task.
  • Maintain our excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality, including accurately using the clock-in and clock-out system via your smartphone to track weekly hours of work. It is essential to arrive punctually at each client’s address and complete the tasks within the designated time frame.
  • Proactively address any customer concerns or requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to workplace policies regarding behaviour, including refraining from smoking in uniform, or at clients’ homes, rudeness or insulting language.
  • Take pride in representing the employer’s interests and upholding their reputation.
  • Prioritise customer satisfaction by attending to customers and jobs promptly.
  • Greet customers and introduce oneself by name and acknowledge customers by name whenever possible and express gratitude courteously before and after completing tasks.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attire to uphold a positive image for the employer.
  • Adhere to workplace policies and procedures, including those related to the use of work vehicles and following health and safety protocols.
  • Follow safe work practices and always wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Report any hazards or incidents promptly to ensure a safe work environment for oneself and others.
  • Attend monthly team meetings to stay informed about updates and best practices and complete monthly KPIs.
